The star billings of this very well-acted program were held by Lucille Ball and Richard Denning, as Liz & George Cooper or, Liz & George Cugat, as noted in the odd episode. The Cooper/Cugat couple live at 321 Bundy Drive, and are billed as "two people who live together and like it!"
The main sponsor was Jell-O, which explains why an average of three advertisement "plugs" (including the same squeaky jingle as Henry Aldrich of "The Aldrich Family" sang for Jell-O), were made for Jell-O, during each episode. Producer for the broadcasting of all AFRTS episodes of “My Favorite Husband,” at Frankfurt, Germany Studios of the American Forces Network Europe, was Air Force Sgt. Dave Schofield. Great classic show. Pay no attention to the bigoted sjw's trying to act judgmental. They tend to be pseudo-intellectual nitwits who lack the common sense
...
to realize their opinions of the world can't be used to measure the world of different era's. It was not better or worse then, just different. Quit trying to ruin everything for everyone, no one is impressed

Subject: Clever; but sad, dated attitudes about women
The writing is top-notch, but listening to these episodes brought back painful memories of what my graduate-degreed mother had to endure as a late 40s-early
...
50s housewife: prejudice against women drivers; having to ask permission to buy a dress; acceptance of men spanking their wives, etc. Liz's crying when she doesn't get her way and her use of "feminine wiles" to accomplish her goals are a painful look into the past.
